What a day!! Today we had planned on celebrating our One Year Anniversary by having dinner and staying the night at The Gaylord. Well, God had a different plan to make our special day even more special!
Early this morning my water broke...I did what every girl would do...I cleaned the bathrooms then checked my e-mail!! I know I am crazy! When Jordan woke up he said, "Just don't have the baby today", then I let him have it! He almost didn't believe me! We shared some donuts(yep I went to the donut shop) then Jordan went to work and Heather brought sweet Kynadie over to spend the day with me. She freaked out when I told her I was in labor! The day went great Kynadie and I ran a few errands and my parents came by with our Anniversary gift. When Heather came back for Kynadie I was really getting UNCOMFORTABLE! I honestly thought that I would be able to enjoy dinner with my husband then go to the hospital and have this sweet baby sometime early tomorrow!
I was wrong....Jordan came home from work to pick me and we headed to the hospital, just to "get checked"!!! By the time we got there I couldn't even walk...our nurse, John, got us all set up and informed us that lil Addiesyn Bree would be joinging us within the hour...I was complete!!
Jordan called our parents and sent a few texts, but there wasn't much time! Our parents all made it along with Nathan and Robin(sorry you missed half your movie)! It was such a wild experiance and once we were at the hospital it all happened so fast! There were a lot of poeple running around, Dr. Neil (not our doctor) delivered Addie at 5:48 pm almost exactly one year after we were married. We were both so overwhelmed!
She is so beautiful(ok her head is a lil lumpy but she has been trying to come for two months), and she looked to cute in her tiny hats! Addiesyn has fair skin like here Daddy and look so much like him but with Mommy's dark hair! Holding her was the one most amazing moment in my life!
My mom was allowed to go into the nursey and give Addie her very first bath, but I couldn't wait to get her back in my arms!
God is so GOOD!
In life I have found that some of God's most amazing blessing come as complete surprises!!
