Sunday School

Today was the First Service for The Met Church in their new building...and it was Addiesyn's first day to go in the Church Nursery! Jordan and I have only left Addie with her Grandparents or Aunts and Uncles. I was really worried about leaving her but I am starting a Bible Study on Wednesday and I will have to leave her in the nursery then, so Jordan and I thought it would be best(for me) to leave her with Jordan's support for the first time! We took a picture, left her bag and all instructions(for a one hour service) and left Addie in the hands of our "new friend"....I of course started crying and circled the childrens area so I could double check on her before heading into church. Can you guess how this turns out....I worried all through the service for no reason....I rushed to pick her up only to find her playing and enjoying herself! Everyone said she was wonderful and made them laugh constantly! I'm so happy that she had fun at "Baby Sunday School"!

The Zoo!

Today Addiesyn went to the Zoo with both Mommy and Daddy! It was a fabulous family day! Our friends came too...it's always fun to get the kids together! Jason and Ashley brought Caden....Mike and Heather brought Hannah and Kynadie(Addie's BFF)!! We got to see the Elephants...they are Addiesyn's favorite animal! The kids were so funny!! It was a little hot but we had a great time, enjoy the pictures!

Our Teething Princess

Addiesyn was up every 2 hours last night...we just couldn't figure her out! We tried it all...bottle, pacifier, the rocking chair, walking, music, and we finally brought her to our bed to snuggle at 6 am! Please pray for our Princess...we have determined that she is TEETHING! Addie is almost 8 months old and hasn't cut a tooth yet, however it does appear to be happening! I finally got a good look at her gums, I think that she will have two teeth on the bottom soon! Today she slept a totally of 50 minutes all day and didn't go to bed until 10:30 tonight, that is so not like her! I cried with her twice today and called Jordan because I just don't want my baby to be in pain. I know she'll be fine and the baby meds are helping....I will let ya'll know when they break through.

Little Gym

Today was Addiesyn's second Little Gym Medal Ceremony....we love going to class! She loves the others kids and I love spending time enjoying her with other parents! Today Gran, Pops, NaNa, Aunt Alison, Aunt Robin, Kass and Melissa joined Addie, Jordan and I! We had the biggest group there! We are so proud of our Little Bug! At class we sing and get to practice movements that will help Addiesyn grow really strong! Today Addie did a forward roll on the balance beam...with Ms. Rachel's help of course! We really need to video tape a class...it's so cute! Today Pops (Jordan's Dad) jumped right in, he just wanted to help Addie with all her activities! We had a great time...she is getting so big!

Big Girl Spoon

BIG NEWS....Addiesyn is using her spoon like a big girl! She has been trying to self feed for a few weeks but ends up giving herself a kitchen facial!! Yesterday at lunch she tried again...and this time...perfect entry and the best bite of Sweet Potatoes she has ever had!! Even she was excited! Meal time just seems to get messier and more fun everyday!!

Also today Addiesyn and I hosted a Ladies Lunch! It was so nice to have my Moms/Addie's Grandmas and our dear friend Kass over! We had a great salad with all kinds of fixings (thanks for the great idea Stephanie) and a fruit salad! We got to visit and catch up while Addieysn played and showed off her crawling and standing skills! She doesn't know it yet but it's totally awesome for Addiesyn to be with her Mommy and NaNa and Gran all at the same time! I wish we would have taken a picture but I forgot! Thanks for coming girls, we need to do it more often!!

Starting this Blog

A good friend of Jordan and mine started a blog to keep her family and friends updated on her son! I loved the idea of sharing pictures and stories about Addiesyn with our family and friends...so I am going to give this my best shot! My prayer is that I will do justice in describing these amazing moments! Sometimes I feel things so deeply that when I try putting it on paper I get frustrated, I really want you to "feel" with us! I am not sure if I am going to start now and just move forward or if I am going to try to catch up on Addiesyn's first 7 1/2 months! Yes...you heard me right....Addie is 7 1/2 months old already! They grow so fast! The pictures above were taken at the beginning of July(6 month pictures), I love them!!

Hang in there with me while I get this started, I'll figure it all out....I promise!

Truely Crawling!

Today our Big Girl actually really crawled! For about two weeks she has been hanging out in the crawling position, bouncing, rocking, going to and from the sitting position but today she really really did it! First thing this morning after Daddy left for work we were playing before breakfast and she crawled just a little, it was so exciting! I cried and thought about calling Jordan but I really wanted to see his face when she crawled for him the "first time". This evening when we were all playing she really took off!! Jordan and I were both so amazed...she seems to be doing that to us a lot lately!!!
