Mother's Day

Can I just start out by making sure everyone knows....how much I LOVE being a Mommy!! It is a blessing that I have a hard time putting into words! It's truly a gift from God...I am honored to have such a sweet daughter! I absolutely feel like the lucky one! We had a wonderful and relaxed Mother's Day...we went to church and relaxed at home all afternoon until we met the entire family for dinner at Uncle Julio's! All 17 of us sat on the patio...the weather was perfect and it was such a nice way to celebrate!

Mom-Happy Mother's Day...thank you for all that you have done and do! I love you so much! You are a wonderful example of the mother I want to be!

Debra-Happy Mother's Day! Thank you for raising Jordan into such a wonderful man, husband, and Daddy!

Potty Success!

She likes to play peekaboo with the shower curtain while on the potty!
She jumped up because of my craziness!

Of course she had to take a look at what all the fuss was over!

She went teetee in the Potty!!!

It was so exciting! I sat her lil naked self on the potty and was talking to her while she sat there and all of a sudden the potty started playing a little song!! I was so excited...I knew it was suppose to do that but we had never experienced it!!! I was clapping and jumping up and down...I think I may have scared sweet Addie a little!!!

After such an exciting morning we had a MOPS playdate at the park, it was a really nice day(actually on the HOT side) and we even had a picnic....when we got home we figured today was the lucky day and we should try the potty thing again. Success...however I will not post pictures! Let's just say it wasn't teetee and Addiesyn's cute lil booty wasn't perfectly on the potty and there was a mess!

Addie and Ashis

Addiesyn loves to be outside and loves to have Ashis on his leash...she's a little bossy, and the leash helps her out!

Addiesyn loves her "brother" (our dog) Ashis! She loves to play with him, hold him, hug him...chase him....tease him! They make a cute pair...and keep me busy!

For the record: Addiesyn is not aloud to climb on, stand on, or dance on the coffee table! Neither is Jordan!

But look at how cute this is.....

She is totally into dancing and shaking it to music!
She was laughing!!! (I think she was laughing at her Dads dance moves!)

I bet they are thinking..."Ok we better get down before Mommy finds us!"

The simple things in life make some great memories and sometimes it's ok to break a little rule.
